December 2014 | Thank you to everyone who donated to EMYS’ 6th Annual Holiday Food Drive! Because of your generosity, we were able to prepare and deliver 38 food baskets to youth and families living in East Toronto!

November 2014  | On November 19th EMYS hosted over 60 people from social service agencies in the GTA @ The 519 to inform and collaborate on promising treatment practices for domestic human trafficking survivors, and to establish a citywide coordination of services.

November 2014  | Toronto East Network of Youth Outreach Workers (YOWs), Executive Directors, Managers and Supervisors met on November 10th to share a year of youth and family outreach engagement highlights and successes.

May 2014 | Police collaborated with Covenant House and  East Metro Youth Services (EMYS) to kick-off sexual awareness month at police headquarters on May 5th.  The focus of this year’s campaign is on domestic human trafficking.
