May 5, 2014 |  Toronto Police collaborated with Covenant House and  East Metro Youth Services (EMYS) to kicked-off sexual awareness month at police headquarters on May 5th.  The focus of this year’s campaign is on domestic human trafficking.  EMYS’ Carly Kalish, an individual and family therapist, spoke about the valued partnership between East Metro and the  Service’s human trafficking unit, and shared the story of a domestic human trafficking survivor – Olivia – who was unable to attend the event.
