Our Approach
East Metro Youth Services has historically incorporated the following concepts into everything we do.

• Our primary focus is the adolescent, young adult, and the family.
• In all cases, EMYS attempts to provide individualized programs to meet identified needs.
• EMYS provides effective direct and indirect services, including prevention and public education services.
• When EMYS cannot provide the required service directly, it will try to secure it from another provider in the service system, or advocate for its development.
• The major underpinning of the EMYS treatment approach is a flexible service delivery program that ensures continuity of treatment planning.
